Alberta's Residential Protection Program (New Home Warranty)

In Alberta, there are seven licensed home warranty providers authorized under the New Home Buyer Protection Act to offer mandatory coverage for newly built homes. These providers ensure that all new homes meet the province’s 1-2-5-10 warranty standards, covering defects in materials, systems, building envelope, and major structural components.
